Found lots of lyrics and a couple midi's for this one. Having a hard time picking up the chords from the computer. Anybody have them handy? Any key will do. Thanks.

You can get sheetmusic (Thomas P. Westendorf's original, with his piano accompaniment; published 1876) at The Lester S. Levy Collection of Sheet Music:

I'LL TAKE YOU HOME AGAIN, KATHLEEN

For some interesting background information, see this thread:  Take Kathleen home to where?

Many thanks for the chords as well as the Lester Levy Collection link. I'm attempting to learn the song and am having a difficult time with the portion "your voice is sad when eer you speak". Maybe the minor resolve sounds strange in my "modern" ear.

Have you guys listened to the words to this song? I think Westendorf may have been pleased to get Old Kathleen back home and off his back!
