The turkeys were cleaning up spill under my bird feeder yesterday when a guy walked past with his wiener dog in shorts... er, wearing shorts and walking his wiener dog. Today, it's rainy, which probably means it's warm-ish.

I saw a wiener dog in a down jacket on Sunday...

Yes, I know. It would have been my parents' 82nd wedding anniversary if they hadn't both been dead for years.

So ~~ what of it? I ask.

speaking of wiener dogs, I both them some dog food yesterday and the bag said home style. What is that about, did they make it with garbage cause that is what my wiener dogs try to get into all the time at home.

questions questions, maybe LH can answer that for me

I am still wondering how you wear a snow shovel! Or is that just how it feels when the lake effect snow hits? :-) LOL!

T-shirt and shorts, olddude? You lucky thing! We were in Norwich UK today and it was brass monkeys' weather, freezing cold with snow flurries. I was wearing everything I possess. I just hate, loathe and detest this winter weather. How I wish I could be sauntering about in T-shirt and shorts!

No, trust me in this Eliza, you don't. We are just recovering from a heatwave, the temperature on Saturday was 39.7 deg C (that's over 103 for those who still think in old numbers) and it was so hot my brain cells were fried.

Cheers

In the psat week or so we had 18, -14 (-30 windchill), our first fluffies (about 2mm) and back to 10 tomorrow. Temperate climate my ass. More like temperamental with the emphasis on the mental.

It has been up into the 80s this week in North Texas, where we should be wearing at least fleece jackets or windbreakers by now. Next week is supposed to be cooler.

Jennie, I think I would like it, 'cos I've thoroughly enjoyed 40 degrees C in Africa, but then, I haven't many brain cells left to fry!

Driving on snow for the first 3/4 miles of the way to work this morning in East Lancashire, UK.
Good news is that this is the last week of driving to work, early retirement is here!
If we run low on funds then I shall have to go busking.

Buffalo was part of my sales territory the year they got 14 major storms one after another. Unbelievable.
