In my opinion, if folks want to answer the remaining Name That Mudcatter questions, and/or make corrections to this guide, and/or post new questions, it would be easier to do that on a new thread.

Therefore, I'm requesting that this thread be closed and that any additional Name That Mudcatter questions/responses be posted on the Name That Mudcatter Thread II that I will start.

Thanks for the fun & the information!

I think you meant, "Gentil rutabaga, je te plumerais...". ALthough the art of plucking rutabaga has long been lost from human ken, I have heard it is still known to a few senior members of the Idaho Legion.

The point of MOAB has never been lost. It is a thread whose perimeter is nowhere and whose center is everywhere, the All-in-One thread, much like Three-in-One Oil, useful in any sticky situation and reminiscent of the Trinity.

"this thread has the potential to become bigger than MOAB!"

This thread is a game. Games have no potential. However, the people who post to this thread, and read this thread have tremendous potential.

Imo, "Name That Mudcatter" is an informative & fun trivia pursuits-like game that provides information and tests folks'knowledge about Mudcat members and guests.

I have found this game to be enjoyable, interesting, intellectually challenging enough [in the formulation of questions and in trying to arrive at the correct response or responses].

"MOAB" is "MOAB". "Name That Mudcatter" is "Name That Mudcatter".

There's not now nor has there ever been nor should there ever be any any conflict or any competition between them.

Here's the 4th edition to this Guide For The Perplexed [revised name]

This fourth edition contains selected questions that have been answered since the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd edition. It also includes selected questions that have not been answered as of the time I worked on this edition. This Guide does not purport to include all the questions posted in this thread.

The numbers given are usually by order of the question's posting. However, some questions may not be in the order of their posting as I had inadvertently missed them in the other editions, or I could not find the post where the question was given, but I found the response after I had numbered other questions.

If there are some questions you think I missed or some responses that I got wrong, please post that information.

Thank you!
