If we're in the middle of playing Music, it's not so easy to fuss at each other.

"trying to turn a verb into a noun"

Ya trip it and it falls down ... that's how you do it.

That's right, Bill. The hyphen only belongs when you're trying to turn a verb into a noun. "Suddenly, there was quite a bust-up." (Sorry, wrong visual)

~S~

(hey! It's working! HI, BILL!!! I actually CAN see you in the threads! Cool!)

'gang-up' doesn't need a hyphen..

I can't resist a set-up like that...

Maybe he's trying to say that he is going to stop trying to make us all leave, and is promising to set a better example ;-)

I have tried a whole bunch of those nasty tactics on Clinton Hammond, Roger (although only after he had been totally mean and insulting to me first)...but...and this is the frustrating part...he won't leave.

It just doesn't seem to work for some reason.

I can honestly say I don't understand what your trying to get across here Shambles.

Can you give it another try .... maybe in a Microsoft Powerplay presentation or whatever.

"I may disagree with what you say" and I damn well defend my right to tell you so over and over and over again.

I'm proud to be a Mudcatter
Where speech is kinda free
And I won't forget the clones so handy
With their "delete" key
And I'll proudly stand up
And run out of parody verses because I have no idea what the next line of that fucking song is and I'm sure as hell not going to waste my time finding out
'Cause I can't deny I love this site

Doesn't this belong in the thread of rhetorical questions?

I may disagree with what you say -

- so this would then appear to entitle me to post only call you vulgar and offensive names, question your sanity and motives, to hold public conversations about you, mock your spelling and grammar and to generally gang-up with others to bully you in the hope that you will get upset with all this personal judgement and leave.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Or perhaps there is a better example to be set and followed on our forum?

One that we could ALL take pride in?
