It's official. My new CD is out this week. I have a link to more detail HERE at my website, inlcuding some sound files.

A few Mudcatters were involved in the making and in the music partying that went along with it!

Paul Mills (occasional MC poster) produced it, and played guitars, mando and sang. Big Mick added some vocals, humor and moral support! Eve Goldberg added some lovely harmonies to my favorite track. Jeri pushed and prodded and convinced me to add a new version of a favorite song - and paid a warm visit during the recording. Duckboots spent some good time with us, visited during the backyard "sings around" and even gave us a radio spot! Just-Picker did some fine picking at a backyard party ... Marion visited a few times with some great new songs, tapes and a fine CDs from other singer/songwriter (thank you Marion) ... Joann - Rick - who am I missing??

Thanks y'all for singing, listening, pickin'

... by the way, my favorite track (that Eve sings on) looks to be what's getting the most airplay too. CHICKAHOMINY RIVER has been listed on a few DJ playlists already. That's nice for me ... I love the song/track (if that's OK to say about my own song).

I've heard the final mix (at least I think it's the final mix), and the CD is Jed's best yet. I love 'Chickahominy River' too, and Eve's harmony is beautiful. I think it's just fine to say you love it - why would you want to sing it if you didn't?

Anyway, congratulations on the birth, Jed!
