Good to see (& hear) you again last night, MC, and once again particularly enjoyed hearing R&WR's vibrant harmonies. What a lovely & powerful voice she has.

It was indeed a most enjoyable sing -- I might just have to revive El Greko's "Best UK Folk Clubs" thread & post about this one to it...

Doc's song was *fantastic* -- had everyone in stitches by the end! He is a national treasure -- I'd love to see HIM get an MBE! He certainly deserves it.

Cheers,

YY

'Twas indeed a great sing. The fact that the room was built by two folkies has nothing to do with the fantastic acoustics of course!!

The beer is nice is really an essential IMHO. How can anyone sing on poor beer?

I feel a new thread coming on.

When you hug me mind the catheter.

Hey, R&RW, do you listen to Radio 4? I'm pretty sure the "Book of the Week" is about Mary Seacole(sp?) -- the same lady you sang about Sunday...
