Interesting prog on BBC2 soon - how they got the Luftwaffe to stop bombing Hull and turn their attention on North Lincolnshire!

Sounds like an inspired decision, Les...!!! (although, I have to say that I was born in Lincolnshire....concieved in the back of a Ford Van on the edge of RAF Waddington airfield surrounded by Vulcan Bombers. Who said romance was dead.....?)

You need to see an earlier thread, Ted, where Aunty Noreen instructed us all in the joys of HTML. Think it was either the PTH July or August thread. Somebody sort a blue clicky for him? I haven't got time (read can't be arsed)

'Twas the June thread, O Deano (who sang that one?), and jOhn provoked the lesson by asking:

Heloo,hoew,doi,you,make,them,big,letters,like,that?

Lesson 1 begins

here

(Can't remember if we covered the 'center' command (speeled the American way.)

Raggy, never heard of the book you mentioned but we're doin about hitler n other germany type stuff, like that kaiser William 2nd was childish, paranoid and there is evidence to surgest that he was mentally unstable! sounds just about right really considering he dressed one of his generals up in a balleriner's tu-tu and asked him to dance in it for him...the poor general died of a heart attack half way through!!! see, i do pay attention some times...

I have a thigh-painting booth at the Hull9 Fair this year, so if you are female, fit and want pea-green legs, come and spend a fiver and become a trend-setter. (Dirty Ron could only supply green paint at such short notice).
