Let's get this straight, Roger --- she told you she's going to a meeting, but she's actually getting off in Mornington Crescent? I must say, you take such cuckoldry in remarkably good spirit!

You could have gone totally Garlic and played The Louvre...

Really, this game is simply too crude. I much prefer the more genteel Caledonian variation, frequently played in the drawing rooms of Edinburgh- "Morningside Crescent".

Come on yous guys
why has no one done "one song to the tune of another"? This is more in keeping with the Mudcat - I submit.
AND why has no-one visited Cheddar Gorge?
OK so its down to me - I vote as we are in the Mendips we could drop-in on the Mendip Packet FC in Emborough (Sun night)
and hotel overnight in the "Areal of Brisel"

Neither the Newport Junction or the Newport and Ryde sections of the I-O-W railway system ever used ex-LUL rolling stock. The last trains to be used were either 02 or Terrier tank engines.

To introduce a modicum of musical relevance to this forum, I humbly request to be permitted to play the Flanders and Swann "Slow Train" convention. (It is at least as relevant as the Isle of Wight variation, although, I admit, the latter does use obsolescent LUL rolling stock!)

So ...

If the Isle of Wight (Newport Junction) Railway is valid so is the I-O-W Newport and Ryde Railway. So as I'm feeling sadistic I'll suggest:

Whippingham
