The Broadside Collection is an extensive collection of recordings of topical folk and folk revival music collected by Broadside Magazine from the early 60's thru the mid 80's. It is currently in the Southern Folklife Collection at UNC-Chapel Hill. There is a quite interesting interview tonight regarding the collection at 8:00 on WUNC radio on a show called "State of Things." If you live within range it is 91.5 fm. Otherwise go to www.wunc.org to listen to it on real audio at 8:00p.m. tonight. I heard part of the interview when the show ran at noon today. I think the collection is being made available on CD.

Hi, Janie - I wonder if you're referring to the Best of Broadside (click) collection. I see they had an 'event' near me in Sacramento, but I missed it.
