Subject: RE: YORKSHIRE GATHERING ONLINE From: GUEST,Raggytash Date: 20 May 01 - 04:26 AM How is everyone this morning, sore feet from dancing and sore heads from .................... Is Geoff now a lame duck? |
Subject: RE: YORKSHIRE GATHERING ONLINE From: roopoo Date: 20 May 01 - 04:23 AM Just better warn youse all: I gave Micca a contact for my wine merchant, and a sample bottle... no... that should be "a trial bottle of Viognier"! A big thanks to the band last night. Too many of them to mention! And thanks to Barry Evans for calling. Where the hell did he get a dance with the name "Gerbil Carnage" from? Andrea |
Subject: RE: YORKSHIRE GATHERING ONLINE From: Liz the Squeak Date: 19 May 01 - 06:32 PM Micca in any condition but pissed would be rare to find this weekend.... no change there then.... By the way Micca, your wife and I have drunk you nearly dry of red wine. You can get more of that stuff with the red label that sounded a bit like compost.... it was very nice.... burp LTS |
Subject: RE: YORKSHIRE GATHERING ONLINE From: Geoff the Duck Date: 19 May 01 - 05:17 PM I have seen Micca, and I would have described him as "Out of condition", or possibly "Cask conditioned". I am the one who was twisted, especially when Badger would not pass me the pint of bitter, and insisted on waving it just out of reach after the accident. Quack!!! GtD |
Subject: RE: YORKSHIRE GATHERING ONLINE From: lady penelope Date: 19 May 01 - 03:11 PM Good grief what's going on? Micca in some sort of condition, Geoff the duck in casualty? What will happen to the casualty rate after the ceiliedh? Actually strike Micca, no I mean strike him! Just call me bitter and twisted. I could tell you all about what happening to your livers if you like? And I could still count it as revision! Keep having a great time. TTFN M'Lady P. |
Subject: RE: YORKSHIRE GATHERING ONLINE From: Mrs.Duck Date: 19 May 01 - 03:03 PM Just dropped Geoff the Duck at casualty. His turn to fall this week. We think its just a sprained ankle but better check. I'm heading back to the gathering later. It is a GREAT do even if I seem to be missing most of it. |
Subject: RE: YORKSHIRE GATHERING ONLINE From: roopoo Date: 19 May 01 - 12:33 PM Living just a spit away as I do, I have nipped home for me tea and to polish the clogs. I left quite an alfresco gathering, with the "Purple Lion" well away too with the singing indoors. It was getting a bit parky, so I think the singers probably had the best idea: beer and warmth! By the way, don't let anyone tell you any different: I returned Micca to the Jug in the same condition I found him - well, almost! I think Firecat's got most of the tombola prizes! I have come away with a tin of spuds and a jar of stuffed olives, which could be the makings of a meal. Andrea |
