By the way Micca, your wife and I have drunk you nearly dry of red wine. You can get more of that stuff with the red label that sounded a bit like compost.... it was very nice....

I have seen Micca, and I would have described him as "Out of condition", or possibly "Cask conditioned".
I am the one who was twisted, especially when Badger would not pass me the pint of bitter, and insisted on waving it just out of reach after the accident.

Just dropped Geoff the Duck at casualty. His turn to fall this week. We think its just a sprained ankle but better check. I'm heading back to the gathering later. It is a GREAT do even if I seem to be missing most of it.

Living just a spit away as I do, I have nipped home for me tea and to polish the clogs. I left quite an alfresco gathering, with the "Purple Lion" well away too with the singing indoors. It was getting a bit parky, so I think the singers probably had the best idea: beer and warmth!

By the way, don't let anyone tell you any different: I returned Micca to the Jug in the same condition I found him - well, almost!

I think Firecat's got most of the tombola prizes! I have come away with a tin of spuds and a jar of stuffed olives, which could be the makings of a meal.

The Shop is call Alathea music. Its on the Bull ring Roundabout. You can see it if you head down to the Barnsly and Doncaster Roads from Leeds Roads pass Light waves swimming pool straight on at the Roundabout at the next go right round Alathea is on your left. There is a car park a few doors past next to the RajPout. Ask for Nick Howorth tell him George Clarke sent you!

I have a surprise in tow - childcare problems so I am bringing ten year old daughter too - this is a mixed blessing. I think she will enjoy it and it will be good to spend time together - but what about freedom..... *sigh*
