Help, my computer skills a showing again!! I was connected to Paltalk about 5 this evening and then signed off. Now I can't get back on. It says they sent me an E-Mail but I haven't seen it. I checked my address with them and it is right. Anyone got an idea of what I need to do? bet

They make mistakes. I've had that happen in the past but it doesn't explain why you can't log on.

Go back to paltalk.com and download a tiny program called regfixer. That should solve the log on problem.

Now for the E~mail problem, what I have had to do is erase the old one after I got logged on and insert another different E~mail to finally get it through.

It's the only solution I know other than going into a Pal Talk help room and talking to one of the Pal Talk admin about it.

Hope this helps.

if you have "lost" your e-mail from them you can get the man on the help-desk to fix the situation on the spot

Jocko, I hadn't lost my E~mail, but they never sent it on three different IDs and the simplest solution was to simply put in a different E~mail to which they sent an E~mail which I replied to.

I clicked on the link in the email to register and it didnt work. Now everytime I open it up it tells me to register - i just click OK and it lets me carry on anyway.

That also works bagpuss. I have several friends that do it that way. I just got tired of the unnecessary messages. Another second of my time wasted clicking away usless fodder.
