There is supposed to be a .gif of the staff notation at Natalie Macmaster's official website,  macmastermusic.com, but in fact the links don't work because the file isn't there.  There's a book of Marshall tunes, The Music of William Marshall, available for $6 at  sheetmusicplus.com, though, which includes The Farewell.  Until somebody comes up with something better, you may just have to start learning it by ear...

Sorry Dan, the tune above is clearly not the strathspey that you're seeking. My apologies.

FAREWELL, THE [1]. Scottish, Slow Strathspey. E Major. Standard. One part. Composed by an elderly William Marshall (1748-1833); it was his musical farewell to his home of Keithmore, which Marshall left at age 74, having resided there 33 years. It was published posthumously in his A Second Collection of Scottish Melodies (the 1845 Collection). Other tunes with the same title were published earlier by James Aird and John Anderson. Marshall, Fiddlecase Edition; 1845 Collection, pg. 35.

I felt sure that I'd tried  JC's Tunefinder, but on looking again just now, I found two copies of Marshall's The Farewell, one in D and one in E.  If you do a search there for the farewell, you'll find them.

Well done Malcolm - I had tried the World Wide ABC Index without luck.

It's interesting that although John Chambers submitted both the D and E versions of the tune in the ABC database, the D version is marred by discords. Either John had an off day when he did the transposition to D, or the program he used was flawed. I know that the E#7s should be E7s and maybe there's some melody problems too. You'd be better off starting with the E Major version.

Help I went to the site and the e major version is the tune i`m looking for but I can`t down load it because I got this computer 4 weeks ago and I`m jus a rookie(dulcimerdan-duldan}Great tune
