Subject: RE: MOAB - Mother of All BS [annex] From: Bee-dubya-ell Date: 24 May 20 - 06:39 PM There's a Thai restaurant in Pensacola that shares a building with a car wash. Subject: RE: MOAB - Mother of All BS [annex] From: Donuel Date: 24 May 20 - 12:46 PM In my thinking on one end of the grand pendulum of human events and responses, is the compounding of negative magical thinking mistakes like the Children's Crusade or the 3rd Reich, and on the other end are the compounded enlightenment extremes of Realitivity and super inventions and discoveries. We may be at the extreme right swing of the pendulum or near to it. Like when we are on a swing this is the time to gain a little boost to the swing down and to the left. I don't know if sticking our legs out or leaning back is what gives us added momentum. Its probably both but we are going to be OK. Everyone is overdosed with rule by lies and TV hypnosis to the point of rejection. The old tricks are suspect and the new meme begins. In reality there are many pendulums at different degrees all swinging simultaneously but I think people visualize in 2 dimensions most easily. I hope we identify the coming time as a new age instead of a post appocolyptic anything. My highly ignored, arrogant sounding, journal of thought droppings work is done. Subject: RE: MOAB - Mother of All BS [annex] From: Bee-dubya-ell Date: 16 May 20 - 11:26 PM Well, since the theme seems to have shifted from dead children to orphaned children.... And I actually sing this one. EVERY BUSH AND TREE I was born in old Missouri. My family they were poor. My mother's name was Laura And daddy his name was Joe. Mama called me to her bedside Saying, "Son, I've got to go. But we'll meet again up yonder Where the parting will be no more." I hear the soft wind creepin' Through every bush and tree. I know my mother's waiting In her heavenly home for me. Now, Daddy moved back home to North Fork And he left us here all alone. And the sheriff came by one evening And he took us to an orphan's home. So come all you orphan children, Who's left down here below, We'll go and meet our mothers Where the parting will be no more. I hear the soft wind creepin' Through every bush and tree. I know my mother's waiting In her heavenly home for me. |

I'm a poor little girl, I wonder and weep For the voice of my mother to sing me to sleep. She sleeps on the hill, in a bed made of clay How cold it did seem to lay mother away. She's gone with the angels, and none do I see So dear as the face of my mother to me. cho: I'm a little lone girl in this cold world so wild, God look down and pity the drunkard's lone child. Look down and pity, Oh soon come to me Take me to dwell with mother and Thee. We were so happy till father drank rum; Then aII our sorrows and troubles begun. Mother grew paler and wept every day; Baby and I were too hungry to pIay. SIowIy they faded and one summer night Found their sweet faces aIl silent and white And with big tears sIowIy dropping I said, "Father's a drunkard and mother is dead." Oh, if some temperance workers could find Poor wretched father and speak very kind, If they could stop him from drinking, why then, I would feel very happy again. Is it too Iate? Subject: RE: MOAB - Mother of All BS [annex] From: Rapparee Date: 16 May 20 - 09:48 PM My father is a drunkard, My mother, she is dead; And I am just an orphan child, No place to lay my head; All through this world I wander, They drive me from their door, Some day I'll find a welcome On Heaven's golden shore. Now if to me you'll listen, I'll tell my story sad; How drinking rum and gambling Hell Has stole away my dad; My mother is in heaven, Where God and the angels smile; And now I know she's watching Her lonely orphan child. We all were once so happy, And had a happy home; Till dad, he went to drinking rum, And then he gambled some; He left my darling mother, She died of a broken heart; And as I tell my story, I see your tear-drops start. Don't weep for me and mother, although' I know 'tis said; But try to get someone to cheer And save my poor lonely dad; "I'm awful cold and hungry," She closed her eyes and sighed; Then those who heard her story, Knew the orphan child has died. |

You said you were coming right home from the shop, As soon as your day's work was done. The fire is all out, the house is all dark, And Mother's been watching since tea, With poor little Benny so sick in her arms, And no one to help her but me. Chorus: Come home, come home, come home; Please, Father, dear Father, come home. Father, dear Father, come home with me now; The clock in the steeple strikes two. The night has grown colder and Benny is worse, But he has been calling for you. Indeed, he is worse; Ma says he will die, Perhaps before morning shall dawn, And this is the message she sent me to bring: Please, Father, dear Father, come home. Father, dear Father, come home with me now; The clock in the steep strikes three. The house is so lonely, the hours are so long, For poor weeping Mother and me. Yes, we are alone; poor Benny is dead And gone with the angels of light. And these are the very last words that he said: "I want to kiss Papa goodnight." (Chorus) |

Subject: RE: MOAB - Mother of All BS [annex] From: Rapparee Date: 15 May 20 - 09:02 PM We Are Seven By William Wordsworth ———A simple Child, That lightly draws its breath, And feels its life in every limb, What should it know of death? I met a little cottage Girl: She was eight years old, she said; Her hair was thick with many a curl That clustered round her head. She had a rustic, woodland air, And she was wildly clad: Her eyes were fair, and very fair; —Her beauty made me glad. “Sisters and brothers, little Maid, How many may you be?” “How many? Seven in all,” she said, And wondering looked at me. “And where are they? I pray you tell.” She answered, “Seven are we; And two of us at Conway dwell, And two are gone to sea. “Two of us in the church-yard lie, My sister and my brother; And, in the church-yard cottage, I Dwell near them with my mother.” “You say that two at Conway dwell, And two are gone to sea, Yet ye are seven! I pray you tell, Sweet Maid, how this may be.” Then did the little Maid reply, “Seven boys and girls are we; Two of us in the church-yard lie, Beneath the church-yard tree.” “You run about, my little Maid, Your limbs they are alive; If two are in the church-yard laid, Then ye are only five.” “Their graves are green, they may be seen,” The little Maid replied, “Twelve steps or more from my mother’s door, And they are side by side. “My stockings there I often knit, My kerchief there I hem; And there upon the ground I sit, And sing a song to them. “And often after sun-set, Sir, When it is light and fair, I take my little porringer, And eat my supper there. “The first that died was sister Jane; In bed she moaning lay, Till God released her of her pain; And then she went away. “So in the church-yard she was laid; And, when the grass was dry, Together round her grave we played, My brother John and I. “And when the ground was white with snow, And I could run and slide, My brother John was forced to go, And he lies by her side.” “How many are you, then,” said I, “If they two are in heaven?” Quick was the little Maid’s reply, “O Master! we are seven.” “But they are dead; those two are dead! Their spirits are in heaven!” ’Twas throwing words away; for still The little Maid would have her will, And said, “Nay, we are seven!” |
