Subject: RE: Oscar Brand recordings From: Joe Offer Date: 25 May 97 - 01:57 AM They Rykodisc "Tradition" label reissued a very nice Oscar Brand (note spelling) CD last year. It's called "Pie In the Sky," TCD 1021. You can send an e-mail to check availability - tradition@rykodisc.com. I think Ryko may have a Web site, too. The budget-priced CD has a very generous 16 cuts, including the title song, Track Lining Chant, The Dodger Song, and The Downtrodden Landlord. Good stuff. Now, he recorded one recently called "I Love Cats." That's a CD I wish I hadn't bought. He may have done one on dogs, too. -Joe- |
