I seek the words for a comic song recorded sometime in the early to mid-1960s by Peter, Paul & Mary. I never heard the original, and I haven't heard it sung at all since 1968, so I remember only two variations of the chorus and about one stanza and two halves, thus:

I'm in love with a big blue frog And a big blue frog loves me. It's not as bad as it appears; He's got rhythm and a Ph.D.

[... something about families ...] His mother was a Phrog from Philadelphia, And his daddy's an enchanted prince!

I'm in love with a big blue frog, And a big blue frog loves me; It's not as bad as it appears, He wears glasses and he's six foot three.

[... something about children ...] They'll be great-looking, 'cause they'll have my face, And great swimmers, 'cause they'll have his feet!

That the neighbours will complain is very clear to me As it's probably clear to you, Because the value of the property will go right down If the family next door is blue!
