What language is the spoken part? - I'm guessing it's Korean, but I may be all wrong. If you can use this thread to post the other lyrics from the video, that would be nice. I wonder who the older woman is - she looks like the woman who played Grandma Walton. It's not, though - it's Jessica Tandy, and Hume Cronyn and John Denver are also in Foxfire, a 1987 Hallmark television movie.

Hi Joe,
The spoken part is in Japanese - It's the Japanese version of that American movie.
And about the chords to "The Foxfire Suite", we all think that the third sentence is "[D] High on a mountain [G] down in a [D] hollow" although John pronounced "hollow" like "holler".

Hi, ddpro - yes, "hollow" is often pronounced "holler." It's hard to decide how to write it, but I usually try to spell lyrics the way they're pronounced. I forgot that you might not catch the meaning if I typed it that way.

Found the lyrics for Dear Lord in the script from the play Foxfire (thanks Google Books). They are slight differences from above:
