It is a wonderful coolection, Merritt. Some of his albums appeared under different names. Your Basic Dave Van Ronk was recorded in one session late at night as Dave was getting ready to leave for NY the next morning. It sounds like there was a bit of grog to help the effort....simply wonderful stuff.
