Depends on what type of blues you want??? Sure, there were a few bluesmen livin' in Chicago when the blues bacame popular in the 20's but keep in mind that many of those folks had migrated north to get outta the cotton plantations...

Most of the folks that we now remember as the heavy weights of the blues, however, lived in or around the Delta in Mississippi: Son House, Robert Johnson, Tommy Johnson, Johnny Shines, Willie Brown, Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters... Yeah, these folks were blazing the trail for the "2nd generation" of blues players, of which you named a few...

Sorry, just couldn't let that statement stand, my friend, because it is is not an accurate accounting of the history of blues music...
