To each his own, Clinton. I found that Aqualung, although it was a good album, marked the start of a trend by Tull toward the concept LP...long songs that tended to become repetitious, connected overblown themes, melody sacrificed for the sake of continuity. I was never a fan of the concept-LP form, and Thick as a Brick I thought was pretty dull. I think Tull changed from an interesting earlier, more jazz-experimental band, as Ian Anderson gained more and more control. I found most of the faux-rennaissance stuff that ensued fairly lame. Sue me.
