The site name (recfaire) is a combination of the company (Renaissance Entertainment Corporation) and faire.

The REC NorCal faire (RPFN) that used to be at Black Point (and also used to be owned by the Patterson family, the originators of the Renfaire concept and current owners of As You Like It productions) has been moved from the Nut Tree site in Vacaville. As stated earlier, it will be near Gilroy.

There IS a faire coming to the Marin area though. AYLI has announced an event (though they don't have a website for it yet) that is being held in a park of some sort a few miles from the old site (that is now a golf course). The Marin faire is I believe only scheduled for three weekends. The Gilroy RPFN will likely be between 6-8, depending on how they schedule.

Thanks for the support on the show I'm currently doing. It's been a hell of a good year - our new CD is doing VERY well, there have been GREAT crowds this season, and overall it's been probably one of the best faire seasons ever - and I've still got one more weekend to do.

*Hopefully* we'll be doing some other shows this year, very likely at renfaires. I'll post details as they happen.

Oh... and the chocolate covered strawberries...

MMMMMMmmmmmm...

One should never underestimate the power of 6-8 lovely young women in bodices lasciviously eating chocolate covered strawberries.
