Well, the 4th in this part of NC was one wet sucker! I had one good time when the storm first started, though; the light-show was my only fireworks display, but I went out very lightly dressed (I'm in an isolated spot in the countryside) in it to feel the blessed cool rain after a day of suffering heat, and to feel the awe in and see the awesomeness of the power of nature.... and to wash my car and my hair so long as I was out there. It was coming down REALLY hard! Fortunately for me, the hailstones were happening further north! gryn Eluned
