Nick was indeed a great talent. One of the guys who I thought of as unmissable.i saw him perform many times in the 1970's in Brum.I was very sorry to hear that he'd died. I think I wrote a short appreciation of him on a website and received a lovely message back from his family. As you say he was very funny. He played tamworth golf Club, The Blackwood and the Station Hotel in Sutton Coldfield, The Boldmere - but his best arena was The Birmingham Rep Fri night .
