Best workshop so far - on Zoom of course - IMHO - was yesterday's Swedish Tunes from Vicki Swan. Music sent out in advance for those of us who are not so quick on the ear-learning, and taken at a pace OK for ear-learners too. Nice tunes too! But must also mention the Festival Orchestra with Carol Dawson and Steve le Voguer: lots of work gone into that, and some nice tunes to play.If I have one suggestion to make for the future, it would be good to put all 3 concert pitch parts on one stave so that we can see how it all fits together - which could be done on 1-2 pages. Yes, there is a full score, but using that would involve far too much page-turning! And also enjoyed May Cheadle's slow session today: knew all but one of the tunes, but good to be playing them slowly rather than never quite catching up!
