In Sharpe's Justice set during the peace of 1814 at the funeral of Sharpe's brother the mourners led by the character played by John Tams sings the Horatius Bonar Hymn "Only Remembered" which Bonar didn't write until 1872, it also had nothing to do with the First World War but was trotted out with an adapted verse in War Horse.
