Mossback BS: Dog training (73* d) RE: BS: Dog training 31 Jan 19

Hullo, PFR-

the ages old working relationship between humanity and dogs

Rather like the relationship with bedbugs and whip-worms. ;>)

So what tiny percentage of dogs are trained by anti social criminalistic pricks
to be weaponised fighting and attack animals...???....how many are trained to do 'evil'...???

Off point. See 30 Jan 19 - 06:04 PM Its not about "training"(or lack thereof)

Keep your disdain for dogs in perspective

I don't have disdain for dogs. I've a great respect for dogs. I often wish I had some myself. I just don't think that they're the ne plus ultra of the animal world.

I DO have disdain for folks who will forgive anything a dog will do -or CAN do - with a facile "dogs will be dogs" attitude; ditto "its all a matter of training", ditto "its not the dog, its the owner", etc.

Nobody needs an AR15 assault-type rifle, and nobody needs a pit bull or other breed capable of easily inflicting mortal damage on humans.

See also among many available sources:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fatal_dog_attacks_in_the_United_States

and that doesn't cover maiming, disfigurement, infection & etc.

Cheers,

Bill
