reggie miles ever hear of a 'Roderich Paesold' Guitar? (19) RE: ever hear of a 'Roderich Paesold' Guitar? 12 Jun 18

I just found a right handed nut among my things, that was close enough to the right size, to check out my P100. I didn't glue it in place. Because it wasn't something that I wanted permanently installed on the guitar. Unfortunately, the nut is cut in such a way that it's producing some buzzing on the low end. However, I am completely impressed with the sound of this guitar. At $30, I feel as though I really scored big time and would like to hang onto it. It has a couple of large craks in the thick clear finish on the lower bout of the face. But other than that it has no other issues, just some bumps and smaller scratches in the finish, which I can easily live with. I wish there was a means of dating this particular guitar. Most of the P-100s that I've seen online had mahogany back and sides. But this one is like olddude's with rosewood back and sides. It has a very booming low end and could use more high end. I imagine that with the right nut and medium gauge strings, it will respond even better than it does now. It's hard for me to believe that I managed to find this for as little as I did. I think that those interested in it may have thought that the finish cracks were cracks in the top and as such, they left it behind. A lucky day for me!
