I have a couple of older ipads, one I use for song lyrics on stage, & the other I use to check email when away from home. As a tablet for music I would stay away from anything Apple, the whole system for loading ANYTHING onto your ipad is so proprietary(sp) I gave up a long time ago. Much better with a Samsung or Kindle tablet & just drag & drop anything/everything from your desktop computer. Make sure you get something which takes an SD card, for extra storage. Good Luck.
