Well, I posted a nice long post here but where it went, who knows?

I am currently standing in the middle of a giant, swirling shit storm, occasionally getting hit upside the head with debris. There's no point in writing it all out as the list is long and none of it is itty bitty bad news. For whatever reason, we are getting hit all at once with multitudes of things. The one thing I am thankful for is that amongst all the bad news, my tumor markers are holding steady.

I am just about numb with frustration. Whatever. Just f*cking whatever.

So...since I can't do anything about things going on, I am going to focus on getting ready for Thanksgiving. We are having company this year so I have some extra cleaning I want to get done (been working in the kitchen all morning) and plan to make the cranberry sauce, fresh butternut squash and creamed cabbage (a handwritten recipe from my Nana) which tastes better after it sits for a day or two.

Jeremiah is helping by getting his toys cleaned up and organized. He is running random things upstairs as needed and is currently sweeping the kitchen floor. :) He is a great helper!

So...the shit storm can just SUCK IT.
Let Operation Thanksgiving commence!
