How about the hymn 'I heard the voice of Jesus Say'. Usually sung to a tune collected by Ralph Vaughan Williams and commonly used for The Star of the County Down. Also lots of songs used widely in the Anglican Church here in the UK with words written by John Bell, and set to traditional tunes.
