Hi - couldn't agree more! my little trio (Gone to the Dogs) have been together some 3 years now playing our own arrangemants of mainly Irish trafditional tunes plus some of our own somgs and the occasional cover. We've been playing at numeerous sessions for fun plus paying gigs at various events and venues around the East Midlands, have supported larger bands at concert events - and even hosted our own. Last year for example we managed to fill the Lincoln Drill Hall, capacity about 300+. I emailed Beverley Folk organisers twice to ask about how we might get on their bill - area 2 , whatever - and haven't even had a reply. Sigh.. Dáithí
