I was able to ignore the whole thing until last night. Then all the hype and promotion over the "debate"... But last night the reality of the situation hit me like a ton of bricks: the American people don't decide who will be our nation's leader. We make a choice - we choose which of two candidates we dislike the least. A very depressing moment. I really dislike Bush's politics. Watching Gore's pretentious mannerisms made me very uncomfortable. Can you trust that a man who exudes dishonesty and aloofness will make good policy for the people?
