GUEST,bernieandred Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix (8) RE: Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix 27 Feb 11

Visited the museum today, but was too late for the Tim Ericksen concert.
However .... museum is great. Musical instruments from everywhere, all well displayed & described. There is an "Artists Gallery" (I think that's what it was called" where they currently have on display John Lennon's "Imagine" Steinway, George Benson's Gibson, which he used on his "big" album, (forget what it was called) Paul Simon's black Yamaha & even Clapton's "Brownie".
The "Artist's Gallery" reminded me of the "Hendrix Experience Museum" in Seattle.
