You make good points Susan.

I was, however always under the impression that it was considered rather bad form to post ones own tunes onto Mudcat's database. I kinda figured that as the musicians' pages of MySpace encouraged it I'd try to present them in the best format that I can. (kinda makes up for the recording quality being so crappy).

(BTW I've always considered US post-war typesetting superior to UK typesetting.)

Granted when I was the resident performer at The Sunflower, sometimes other musicians would come up to me and ask if they could be taught one or two of the tunes I'd done but even with the MySpace exposure I hadn't reckoned anyone would be in rush to learn me tunes.

But if anyone is in a rush I'd be happy to send an ASCII version of the asked for song in the format you've outlined. Just leave a message and I'll forward the chords and lyrics.
