Of course! And I am amazed at how a grass roots song manages to proliferate thanks to the web... and places like the Mudcat.

Be thankful! No! ;-) I'm no singer!

But it has been recorded several times by terrific performing artists, some of which are acknowledged at the bottom of the song page on my website. The most recent honour was a few lines sung by Imelda Staunton in the movie soundtrack of the British film 'Three and Out'.

Though I'd love to, I dare not share copyright versions on the web. All I can do is mention the CD's that include the song. Regretably, one of the best versions is out of print now, that one having been arranged by Tom Wanca and sung by Molly Felder on the Unison CD 'Echoe Glen'.
