The Raise your banners festival is nearly here, a week of song, music,food, dance & drama. Banner Theatre's performance of 'they get free mobiles ..don't they' at East Ward Labour Ward Club. 8th Nov. Julie Felix at the Topic Folk club 8th Nov. 7.30pm concert at the 1 in 12 club with Dave Douglass, Al Baker, Fiona Keenan, Muppett, The Bookworms, The Man in Red & Black 9TH Nov. Official launch event at City Hall (Invitation only) 9th Nov. 7.30PM The BIG CONCERT @ ST GEORGE'S HALL WITH OYSTERBAND, CHUMBAWAMBA, DICK GAUGHAN & TRACEY CURTIS 10 Nov. Various Community choirs performing at the Bradford Irish Club 10.30am - 1pm / 2pm - 5pm 10 Nov. Poetry open mike sesh (themed - 'socialist verse')at the New Beehive from 1pm 10 Nov. A reading by Adrian Mitchell, Andy Croft & Keith Armstrong - reflecting different aspects of Socialist verse at the Alhambra Studio from 5.30pm 10 Nov - 2pm - 5pm concert in the New Beehive with Fusion, Hollow Horse, Aidan Jolly & Rob Johnson. 10 Nov - 7.30pm - 11pm concert in the Irish club with John Waller, Chris Butler, Fiona Keenan, Red Flags, Alun Parry, & Seize the day. 10 Nov concert in the New Beehive with David Ferrand, Alistair Hulett, Claire Mooney, Roy Bailey, & Scarlet Heights. 11 Nov 10.30am - 1pm concert in Bradford Irish Club with Various Community Choirs. 11 Nov 2pm - 5pm concert in the New Beehive with Karl Dallas, Steve Skinner, Bradford Women Singers, Geoff Watson, Soundsphere & Seize the day.
