Typing of Tommy sets me in mind of the Clancys as well. One or t'other (and quite possibly both) recorded a(t least one) version of 'Galway Races'. Lyrics, anyone?

Here's a memory jog -- it goes something like this:

Well I went down to Galway for to seek some recreation
On the twenty-third of August my mind had been elevated
To the multitude assembled with their tickets at the station
My eyes began to dazzle I was going to see the races.

(Chorus x 2)
C G
With a wack fol-de-ra

Am
Fol-rol-diddly-idle-day

etc.

Anyway -- picked up second hand from a local performer and haven't been able to make out all the words yet. Frustrating 'cause I love the song -- and I was surprised enough when it wasn't on the original DT at PARC. I can hardly believe no one has asked for it even up till NOW!

As always, assistance greatly appreciated!

9=^) <-- Say...is it just me, or does that kinda look like Little Lulu in this font?
