OK, the Purists/elitists can howl all they want, but The Kingston Trio's first album with Tom Dooley sold over a million records, put guitars in thousands of hands, was the first time many had ever heard a banjo, caused a sensation for a whole generation on college campuses at the time, and opened up North America's eyes to their own tradional music. Everything else is really mice nuts in comparion.
