Kristen,
With all due respect, are you not doing exactly what you are complaining about The "Republicans" doing?? Twisting Mr Cash's life to fit your own political agenda?? For Gawds sake! Let the poor man rest in peace,..and wipe the foam off your chin before someone mistakenly thinks you have rabies. Johnny Cash was a devout Christian and believed in America and the principals on which it was founded. Johnny also played the white house twice, once for Richard M. Nixon, and once for Ronald Regan. In my opinion he wouldn't want to be a sacrificial lamb for you or anyone else, But remembered as a good man that believed in what HE believed in,Loved his Family, and his Country, and damn what anyone else thought about it. In your post, you first asked questions about what John believed in, and then answered them as if you were John's voice, How the heck would you know?? The answer probably is,..You don't.
Peace!
Through Understanding
Biskit
