e-ceili? The Irish spelling is normally used to mean Irish dance.

e-ceilidh (specifically the Scottish spelling) is an expression coined within the English folk dance movement and refers to a lively attitude to dance not a style of music. Bands as diverse as Whapeasel and Bismarcks count as e-ceilidh.

If you play English music for poeple who step then its e-ceilidh, if you play for people who walk then it isn't.
