Charliestu WHITBY !! (178* d) RE: WHITBY !! 31 Aug 04

From the crowd at FILO Folk I'd like to say that my legal staff will be dealing with the whole affair!!!! I am suing you all for damage of the tonsils, bleeding fingures, enlarged liver, etc, etc.

On Sunday, Glaisdale was brilliant, my kind of folk; first time I've been there since I moved here 20 + years ago.
The usual FILO Tuesday night was .....great!, eight until late, plenty food, plenty music and song beer wasn't too bad either! The throng that turned up really enjoyed themselves, but did others know of the venue? Thursday, Friday was just as 'bad'.
Unfortunately, like most places, there is a limited amount of space available so you've got to make the effort (and it's up hill, literally) and as usual it's first come first served!
Many thanks to visitors (you know who you are! - and so do we!) and to the local musicians alike, for all their contributions over the three main nights.
FILO Folk (First In, Last Out) has been going on for almost 2 years -a place where singers and musicians can be heard and you can sing what you want to sing and please yourself, literally. When in town come visit, if you want to "Folk for pleasure visit FILO Folk" every Tuesday.....................Toodle pip!
